Silkscreens of Harty

In my previous career I was surrounded by the beautiful rural area of Harty. Immersed in the kent countryside on a daily basis, driving through farmland and seeing a multitude of wildlife every day while at work was a wonderful experience. This area was a big part of my life and I miss seeing the wildlife.

Out of all the creatures I'd see, my favourite was the pheasant. Both beautiful and delicious I couldn't resist making an image on one when I started using the silk screens at university.

Thus started my reminiscent image making of wildlife I miss seeing on a daily basis. Mr pheasant always gets a lot of attention whenever he is on display. These prints will be an ongoing part of my practice and I look forward to developing a portfolio of Harty Silkscreens.
